Serial Entrepreneur and a Fintech evangelist, Mohammed Ibraheem Khan is a law graduate from the prestigious University of Hertfordshire, UK. Born on 10th March 1981 in a middle-class Pakistani family, Ibraheem gave wings to his entrepreneurial dream from a very humble background. At the young age of 23, Ibraheem started his first company in the UK with a mere investment of 500GBP. Within the first two years, the construction company had a turnover in excess of 1 Million GBP. This, however, was not enough for Ibraheem as he had bigger dreams to chase. He moved to Dubai to start his flagship company, Peninsula Business Solutions in 2008. With its success, he went on to establish other companies like OneGram, GoldGuard, and HUULK, one after the other. All these companies are now brought under the MIK Group. Ibraheem is credited for being the founder and innovator of the first-ever sharia-compliant Islamic cryptocurrency. This has made him a prominent industry leader in the fintech and banking industry across the GCC. He has been featured in the Forbes Middle East and Reuters for his entrepreneurial initiatives. Ibraheem now has business interests in 13 countries and with an annual turnover of more than 500 Million USD. Though the MIK group does not reveal the details of its CSR activities, Ibraheem is also known for his philanthropic initiatives in UK and Pakistan. He also serves on the advisory board of Non-Profit Organization for humanitarian works.
